After numerous research, I have come to the point that hair gel *does* cause hair loss, but there are a various of reasons as to why.

Hair gel is designed to coat and smooth frizzy or unruly hair. The ingredients within it work by coating the outside of each strand with chemicals that provide a protective barrier and make the hair look and feel sleeker.
